The Trial

Thanks to a Shard, the Crimson Lord sets up Jade's trial. He’s determined to condemn Jade 8 for her “wrongdoings” against the Crimson Clan and those of all her predecessors. As the judge, the Crimson Lord gives an extremely biased account of our heroine's past actions to date. But Jade is confident: she and the previous Jades have nothing to feel ashamed for. Right…?
